Application, age and retest details

For a teen learner license, applicants must be 15–17, complete the required classroom driver education and provide the required school enrollment or graduation evidence. DPS accepts knowledge-test completion through approved driver education; otherwise the test is taken at the license office. The handbook specifies 70% as the minimum for knowledge exams. This simulator uses 30 questions and a 21-answer threshold.
